Building Bridges to Strengthen Social Capital

2025 Numbers at a Glance

15,000

Individuals attended one of our 135+ in-person or virtual Network Nights, our semi-annual Resource Fairs, our partner programs, or other community gatherings we hosted this year. That’s an average of more than 2 events per week with 100 attendees every time, every week of the year.

80+

UC members from Boston and Springfield applied to our Union Capital Leadership Program—the highest number of applications in the program’s history. This milestone demonstrates an inspiring commitment to grassroots leadership development, which we gladly accommodated by expanding our UC Learns program.

Years of planning for Union Capital’s future! Last year, CCT-Boston helped us to develop our new 5-year Strategic Plan, identifying Member Activation & Engagement as our top priority. We’ll be piloting several new systems, programs, and ideas over the next two years, which will lead to the implementation of new programming in years 3-5.

“I received a $500 gift card from Union Capital that allowed me to pay my bills. I started a class they offered with Project Hope. I graduated and I’m currently working in the admin field. If it wasn’t for the one UC night virtual meeting I would have never been where I am today!”

“When I started going to the meetings, I found out there were so many programs available, so many enthusiastic, great people that live in this town and want to do better by the community, for themselves. It was just eye-opening and exciting, it was a wonderful surprise.”
