A Space to Connect, Reflect, and Grow
Communities of Practice (CoP) is a six-month, peer-driven experience for Union Capital members who are building, leading, or growing something meaningful in their communities. It offers dedicated space to work through challenges, explore ideas, and move forward with support from others doing the work, too.
Participants may be developing a community initiative, growing a business, stepping into a leadership role, or exploring a project. Wherever they are in that process, CoP brings members together to share their experiences and learn from one another.
Learning Through Shared Experience
A Community of Practice centers lived experience as an essential part of learning. Members bring their own questions, insights, successes, and challenges to the group.
Participants serve as thought partners, contributors, and sources of encouragement and accountability for one another. Through conversation and reflection, they gain fresh perspectives, support each other’s progress, and build confidence in their leadership.
What to Expect
Six months of connection and shared learning
Meetings every other Monday from 6:00–8:00 PM
Alternating virtual and in-person gatherings

Room to Grow at Every Stage
You do not need to have everything figured out to participate. Communities of Practice welcomes members at different stages of leadership, exploration, and development. The shared foundation is a willingness to contribute, learn from others, and keep moving forward together.
