Mothers For Justice & Equality
The mission of MJE is to end neighborhood violence by empowering mothers and youth to challenge the normalization of violence and become effective catalysts for change in their homes, schools, and communities. By reclaiming the identity of our communities we restore a sense of hope and purpose for children, youth, and adults.

The Parent Connection
Ask anyone who has children what it's like to be a parent, and you are likely to get a full range of responses that typically boil down to "it's the most wonderful, challenging and life-changing experience you can imagine." It's often difficult to adequately articulate exactly what that means, and even harder to comprehend, until you are living it.
The Parent Connection is BIDMC's free service offering support groups and mentoring for new parents.
